Has anybody ever heard of a green filter for 6.2 engines?
I've been around cars and mods since I bought my 2005 Pontiac GTO. So I've modded a majority of the cars in my signature below, but during these 20 or so years I've never heard of a green filter.
I've installed many cold air intakes over the year, mainly Rotofab, K and N, aFe, veraram, and my current air filter which is an Attack blue. We've all read where CAI's give you 5-10 hp, but I never bought into the hype. I changed the just because I could and it was a great starting place for future mods.
I have been told by my tuner the green filter flows really well, but I've never even heard of the green filter, and trust me, I'm willing to spend $110.00 taking a chance the green filter is really that good.
Now, is anybody here running a green filter, or has anybody ever heard of greenfilter.com? Here is a link to the 6.2 Corvette green filter.
In 2015 I bought my 2008 C6 and it had a Vararam with a Green Filter, it worked well for the 28k miles that I put on it, and was still in good shape when I sold it last year.
More 'flow' equals more particulate matter, nano filters or whatever...it is physics.... the best filtration is cellulose/stock. I don't care if you don't care.
