Default Entry Level FIA seats- C6

I have Corbeau Evolution X seats on my 05 using 3pt belts and they are great on the street and in autoX. I am looking to get into HPDE's (SCCA TNiA events) and want to get a better seat, looking for an FIA approved version and 5/6pt harness to boot. I know the evo X were designed to fit the tight confines of C5's and C6's and they do fit tightly so I am concerned about getting a seat and finding it doesn't fit the car. I looked at the "will this seat fit" thread which is great but didn't find what I was looking for.

I'm 6', 210 with a 34" waist. I do not know of a seat dealer in my area to "try them on" so worst case I return.

I've been looking at the following but can't find solid info on C6 fitment and was hoping people here have experience with one of them.

Racequip Composite- Fiberglass in 3 sizes
Momo Start- Fiberglass
Sparco Sprint- Steel tube
OMP TRS-E- steel tube
OMP TRS-X- steel tube
Cobra Monaco Pro- steel tube
Pyrotect sport- Fiberglass
Others??

Anybody have these in their C6 and can comment on mounting, fitment and comfort?

I have a Racequip Large in my passenger side with AMT mount. It fits fine. My Sparco QRT/EVO L fits fine too.

Thanks.

Racequip advertises them as 15", 16" & 17" is the lake you have the 16"? And what size human fits in those? I guess what waist size fits?

Honeslty no idea. I know my EVO L fit great so I pulled up the manufacturer's drawings for each and matched it with my my EVO L is. I'm 6'0 225, was 245 when I got both seats, still fit in them fine. I wear a 34-36 pants depending on brand. Pretty sure I put that in the "what seat fits in my car thread". Might be worth another look for what others have too.

I have Sparco Evo-L with AMT mounts. I'm 6ft and 200lbs with 34 - 36in waist. I fit fine in them but I wouldn't want to gain more weight. I've driven 3 hrs on the street with them and the wife and I were both ready to get out of the car.

I also have UPR's standard height racing seat pad which makes the seats much more comfortable. You do sit up a little higher, but not enough to cause issues.

Whatever seat you get be sure to GET THE AMT SEAT MOUNT! AMT is having a Memorial day sale just FYI.

I was looking at both the AMT and the FDF mount.
