New here guys, Hoping for some guidance on an issue.
The car:
2019 Z06 automatic.
All deletes
Magnuson 2650 SC
BTR stage 2 cam
Long tube headers
Corsa X-Treme mufflers
HP Tuner tuned
Upgraded fuel pump
2800 stall converter
The problem:
All work was done over the winter. Car went to the tuner. Car worked AWESOME! Would smoke the tires in 3rd gear anywhere under 100 kph (60 mph)
Then the other day, lost power at some point on a run. Now 1st and 2nd feel fine but restricted power in 3rd. Will not break traction at all.
Service rear axle had come on a couple times before but no ill effect. figured id get that looked at at some point. Now it comes on more frequently and I lose the ability to turn off stability control. Code is C0414-58
I also think I may have air in my intercooler system.
Can any of this explain my power loss? Am I in a restrictive power mode of sorts? Nothing is showing up on HP Tuner software nor my dash nor my scanner.
Start with the leak checks and if there are any resolve those before proceeding. When replacing the stock exhaust, did you remove or bump the pump motor or other parts of the differential control system? If so, I would start to look for loose electrical connections in those places. The 414 DTC indicates the pump motor is drawing less than 5 Amps when this code is shown. What it doesn't tell us are the upper and lower limits of current draw. Is 5A too much or too little? Another DTC indicates things are fine if the current draw is above .207 amps. It might be a good idea to check the electrical connections for the pump and see if there is any corrosion at those points.
