Default Removing Crossed Flagged Badge

Does anyone know if the front cross flag badge on the hood has alignment pins on a 2023 C8 or is it just self adhesive? In other words if I remove it, will there be alignment pin holes?

Thanks!

It's just self adhesive. No alignment pins.

No alignment pins or anything. only double face 3m type tape.
Are you wanting to remove it and not put it back on?
You can make a template if you're wanting to put it back on in the same place. you can use 3m thin tape that appears to be the same as factory.

It's a personal thing for sure. But I strongly feel the nose of the Corvette C8 looks much better without the traditional badge. Maybe it's due to the cockpit move so much more forward and shorter than previous generations or maybe I'm just dead wrong. I've had it off now for 3 years without the urge to reinstall.

Mine just had some ppf applied, so they removed it. When I went to pick it up they were just finishing and hadn't reapplied it yet.
I had them leave it off. They kept a template and said they'd reapply it if I wanted.

I don't dislike the emblem, it is just with the body lines on the hood and (especially) the zigzag Charlie Brown shirt design lines on the front of the hood, the area looked awfully busy.
I kept the optional chrome Corvette letters and Stingray on the back, so it is not totally debadged.

Just mounting tape, use fishing line to saw through the tape for removal, then use a drill mounted eraser to get the tape residue off the car. Tape all around it to protect the rest of the paint.

Should be fairly easy to remove - good luck.
