2012 Steering wheel disassembly

2012 Steering wheel disassembly
I am changing out the steering wheel on my 2012 GS and cannot get the back cover off of the steering wheel to remove the wiring harness. It doesn't look like it's meant to be disassembled. What have you all done? Any help would be appreciated

It don’t come off, do everything from front. Taking it apart takes much longer than putting together.
I brought mine in and did it at the kitchen table. Oh my God it took forever getting all them wires out for the steering wheel controls. I was thinking it’s gonna take me a week to get it back in, but it wasn’t like that going in took maybe 15 minutes.
but I was the same way. I’m like how the hell are you get that back piece off? It doesn’t come off
