Looking for Advice: LOMA Stream GT 2‑Piece Forged Wheels — Micro‑Crack Repair or Sell
Cosmetically, the wheels are in good shape. Faces and barrels look clean, and the center caps are intact.
The only issue: One of the fronts has a couple of micro‑holes over about a 2-inch section on the inner lip, causing a slow leak. No deformation, no structural damage to the face or barrel. Just a small inner‑lip crack that a proper forged wheel shop should be able to repair.
I’m trying to figure out the smartest move:
- Repair the crack and then sell
- Sell as‑is (micro-crack disclosed) and let the buyer handle the repair
- Or something else I’m not thinking of
What would you guys do in this situation?
Appreciate any insight.
that might sway the decision process.
I had an OEM Hyundai wheel repair and one of my rear C7 cup wheels for less than $200 per wheel. ( I don’t remember exactly)
but if you found a place that could fix it, I think they’d sell faster than if you try to sell “as-is”.
best of luck,
Jason
p.s. Bad *** looking wheels.
