New alternator only has two pins on electrical plug.
So I just bought a new no-name brand alternator from Amazon for my 2005 Corvette and I noticed it only has two pins coming out of the electrical plug while my original has three pins. The plug still fits, but I’m afraid to start it up and install it. Any thoughts on this can I use it? Thanks.
I'd get rid of your "no name" alternator and get the CORRECT OEM !!..you can't use it...Amazon and EBay are the last place you'd want to get parts for your car.
