Default '67 L36 Oil Leaks and recommendations on Gaskets, Seals

For the first 25 years of C2 L36 ownership, I had the good fortune of a 427 that didn't leak oil. The last eleven years I've been continuously chasing engine oil leaks with no real success.

Any thoughts on using the following gaskets and seals:
1. Oil pan gasket: Fel-Pro Performance #1884R
2. Rear main seal: Fel-Pro Performance #2904 (2-piece silicone) or #2918 (2-piece Viton)?
3. Timing chain cover: Fel-Pro #TCS 45060
4. Intake manifold gasket set: Fel-Pro #1275 S-3
5. Valve cover gaskets: Fel-Pro Performance #1635

Recommendations on better alternatives are appreciated as well.

Thank you

I may be an outlier but I have been using the Fel Pro Silicon Rubber gaskets with rigid center like the 1884 and 1635 with good success. I know a lot of guys still like the cork but they just keep deforming and collapsing to where after a few years they just seem to weep all the time. I think I used a gasket similar to what you proposed for the intake.

I agree with Dan. It’s the future and gasket tech has improved significantly.

Also, @CADbrian should chime in here as he just went through this on his ‘67 L36 and seems to have solved the problem leaks.
