Your first filter? I did mine at 4k miles. The e-torx bolts are a bit of a pain, so I’d recommend breaking them loose by hand, then use a power tool to remove. Make sure you use a torque wrench on the filter cover bolts. I kept my used filter, but ended up selling the stingray. I will swap out my Z06’s filter soon. Also, no need to add additional fluid as you’ll only lose a few ounces doing the filter change. Good luck, go slow.
Mr. Happy % Monitor says its time to change my Transmission Filter. Can I do this myself? Should I change my Transmission Fluid at the same time?
Any recommended YouTube videos for DIY?
THANK YOU!

lots of youtube videos on changing the filter and fluid in c8s. I changes my filter at just over 2k miles snd will change fluid at 3yr point. Key point - get a torque wrench for inch lbs to set the filter bolts - believe they are 53 inch lbs.
The first DCT filter is likely free between 7000 and 8000 miles under warranty. It may be beneficial to have it done at the dealer for documentation in case of a future warranty issue.
If you have plans to do it yourself. I think you are a bit late to the party. IMO, you should have changed it out yourself at 3 to 4k and highly recommend the 7500mile to be completed at the dealership for documentation for the warranty and as well as selling the car later should you decided too.
