My new addition needs new tires. The 57 needs a radial with a wide whitewall. For my 66 I bought gold lines from Diamondback and I have been quite happy. My thoughts are to return to Diamondback but there may be better choices. The 57 is a cruise night special so no high speeds or track days. Any thoughts?

Kingpins and radials shouldn't collide in the same sentence. You need bias plys to get that authentic '50's pickup ride like a proper C1. Them radials don't follow the highway grooves like real tires do ... but maybe that's a good thing.

I hear a Chinese outfit distributes Kontio tires that are made in Finland. They are wide whites and have a good reputation in the old car community.

I am not kidding : https://kontiotyres.com/.
