Used search to see what I could find and it did not populate much info.
If there is already a thread on here somewhere for track set up on C8 Z06 please redirect me.
Looking to get out of my Porsche and into a C8 Z06 that will see double duty track/street.
Cant wait to get started.
Thanks , appreciate it.
I scoured that forum first, but did not see a sticky or anything where people have set ups in 1 place.
I'll post up questions there for wheel size, tires, suspension mods and aero.
Perfect.
How much track time do you see with your car?
I assume you run VIR?
I have COTA an hour away, looking forward to playing soon.
There's quite a few C8 Z06's at COTA for track days. This is the last year of track days as we know them because COTA is going private next year.
From what I've seen, a lot of guys do 200tw tires, I'd assume most would do Castrol SRF and some sort of brake upgrades. I like having dedicated race pads and rotors for track days.
Do you have carbon or iron rotors? There is a whole ton of good info on what works and what doesn't because of the ABS programming of the brake system.
Ya, unfortunate about the changes at COTA, I feel Harris Hill is a bit underwhelming in a bigger faster car.
Do you run there?
I don't have the Z yet, but its coming.
Perfect.

I'm generally 5-7 weekends per year. VIR is my favorite trackthat I go to, but due to distance (about 4:15), it's usually once a year or so for me. Summit Point is my "home" track (45-50 minutes away, but I don't love it so don't go too often, and despite me living in Virginia, New Jersey Motorsports park is a good hour plus closer to me than VIR, so I end up there more than anything else..
I'm not chasing lap times, so car is stock (outside of fluid, tires, etc.).
