Opinions on this rear spoiler

a) Hate it
b) Like it
c) It's your car, do what you like
I'm in the c category. For the one in your pic. For me it's too tall.

There are a lot of OEM designs that go from outrageous to subtle, but that match the styling of the car. For example, Pontiac Fiero spoiler:
Or the more subtle spoiler that Ford offered on the HPP/High Performance Package version of the Crown Victoria from 2002-2008.
In either case, these spoilers matched the aesthetics of the car in contour and shape. They did not necessarily stand out in stark contrast, which may or may not be desired.
I'd also ask for what purpose. Is it just for style, or are you looking for something purpose built... like to keep the car planted. The Corvette is obviously RWD, so a spoiler makes sense. I always get annoyed when I see a Civic with a massive wing, which clearly does nothing for the car's handling on a road course.
I also think if you're going to get something like that, it needs to be proportional to the car... so you would likely also want to get a chin spoiler as well so it looks complete, and not like you went to Pep Boys' chromed plastic section.
Just my opinion. In about 10 minutes, someone will come in and say, "It's your car, do with it as you wish." And he would be right... but if it's to make the car more appealing, there's probably more people who'd prefer it stock looking than not. But I'm all about giving the car a little bit of identity.
