FS: '99 Corvette FRC, Nassau Blue, Supercharged
Body: Very nice shape. Nassau blue paint looks great. Minor scrape that is barely visible on the rear bumper. Partial PPF on front and rockers. Very bottom of driver’s side rocker, the PPF has a scrape but did not damage paint or body. Overall, it is extremely clean.
Interior: Also, very nice shape. C6 ZR1 shifter with blue stitching on boot (matches car nicely). Dash, steering wheel, headliner, carpet all in great shape. All gauges work. Has wideband AF gauge and electronic fuel pressure gauge in 2 pod pillar, very clean install. Has a removable divider from trunk to passenger compartment. Minor tear on drivers side bolster. Visible in the pictures. Stereo works when it wants to. About a year ago, I had an issue with the gauge cluster switching back and forth between MPH and KPH. I replaced the entire cluster with a cluster that had 4,831 miles less than the car. The 43k miles I listed at the top is the actual mileage on the car. Cluster reads 4,831 miles less.
Engine/Fuel System: Someone has been in it in the past, so I can’t confirm everything that’s been done but I will share everything that I know. Still LS1, 241 heads that have been ported (had intake off at one point, could see there had been work done). Seems to have a small cam in it. Trunnions and valve springs have been upgraded. A&A Vortech V3-Ti supercharger kit, intercooled, A&A race blow off valve. Currently has a 4” pulley on it but also have 3.8 and 3.6 pulleys. Balancer has been done. Long tube headers, wrapped, to high flow cats, to X pipe, to Z06 titanium rear section. Fresh plugs, wires, etc. Sounds great, not overly loud at all. Fuel system has been completely updated. 60 lb injectors, Holley fuel rails, Aeromotive fuel pressure regulator, -8 feed/-6 return Fragola PTFE from/back to the tank, Aeromotive fuel filter, Walbro 450 fuel pump in Racetronix cannister (kit…brand new), fuel pump hotwired/relayed with Racetronix harness. Runs a 3 bar map sensor, tuned on HPTuners. Crankcase ventilation through Motion Raceworks Active Catch Can, which eliminates any crankcase fumes. Also has MSD 2 step wired into the clutch switch that I used once. It's disabled, but if you plug one wire connector, it's back in action.
Trans/Diff: Diff has 4.10 gears in it. I was told that the diff had upgraded shafts, but I cannot confirm. Trans shifts as it should. Trans/diff seam leaked a bit. I cleaned it and ran a bit of sealer on the outside and it hasn’t leaked since. Both trans and diff fluid have been changed in the last 5k miles. Was also told it had an upgraded clutch, but again, can’t confirm that.
Brakes/Suspension/Wheels/Tires: Recent KNS pads and rotors all around. Good initial bite, great feel. ABS and traction control did not work properly. Pulled the ABS fuses and when I replaced the cluster as mentioned earlier, pulled the ABS and traction control lights. Recently installed new C6Z shocks and had a 4 wheel alignment done. Only other thing I noticed (that I didn’t do) was that the sway bar end links had been done. Everything else I believe is stock. Drives great. Wheels are C5 5 spokes, that I had checked for straightness and had professionally painted a graphite gray and cleared. Tires are Michelin Pilot Sports in stock sizes…tires are about 3-4 years old, plenty of life left in them.
Performance: I have not dyno’d the car at all, but I have run it down the track for 8 or 9 runs. On the 4” pulley, boost is about 8-9 psi and it went 11.55 @ 126 on an extremely soft launch on straight pump gas. I later ran the 3.8” pulley (10-11 psi) with a splash of VP Octanium in the tank and it went 10.91 @ 131, also on a soft launch. All runs in the heat of the summer and on older drag radials (which go with the car).
Hate to see it go, but it’s time. The car is located in Rockville, MD. Looking for $28k. Fly in, get a transport tag and drive it home.
Happy to answer any questions or send any other detailed pics.
