I thought I would start a new thread for more affordable C1s & C2's. So many are priced out of reach of many buyers but there are cars still out there for those who like a project and have $50,000 or less to spend.

I would drive this car. Maybe work the price down to low $40s...
I notice they are all convertibles. four years ago, I bought my '66 s/b coupe for $40,000. but have since added about $25,000. to make it a nice driver.

Congrats! You bought at the right time just before the Covid inflation. Like everything these days, prices have jumped...

Here is a 63 340 Convertible for $46K in OR. The engine possibly might even be original (need to check): LINK
Some paint issues
Correct engine bay. Factory Engine????
Nice red interior...

Yes, fewer coupes. I think that in the 70s and 80s no US car markers were making convertibles so more C2 convertibles were spared because you just couldn't buy a new one and they were considered special. Just my theory...Originally Posted by 66sixtaillights

C2 coupes tend to be more desirable than the convertibles. It will be harder to find one under $50k.
