In my 1986 Corvette I still have the original PROM, and I’ve seen that updating to the newer BUC 1724 PROM (1227942) might fix some issues I’m having.Does anyone have one for sale or know where I can get one?
The problem is it drives fine, but as soon as I hit a certain spot on the pedal right near where you first start pressing it, it sets Code 33 and goes into limp mode. If you stay just below that spot it drives fine, and if you go past it really fast you can still drive fine, but if you hold it there for more than a second it sets the code every time. If I turn the car off for about 15 seconds and turn it back on, the code goes away and it drives fine again until I hit that spot. I’ve already replaced the TPS and the mass air flow sensor and it’s relays but it still doing it. Also it shows low mpg

I just took a look at several bins-they all have the 33 limit at 45gm/sec so the BUC wouldn't help. I think your best bet would be to take up tunedperf on his offer-he could also change fan on/off temps etc at the same time.
