Default 1960 original engine stamp or fake/re-stamp?

Hello I am new to this and just purchased this 1960 but I did not do adequate research or ask the important questions before I bought it. Can someone (the more the merrier) please look at this engine stamp and give me your opinion on its originality vs restamping? 🙏 thank you!

The CS stamp was used on 58-61 fuel injected Corvettes, but the vin # was not stamped on the engine pad until around Jan of 60, so if the stamp is original, you have a 60 or 61 engine. With your engine build date, I would say it is a May 10, 1960 engine, but the cast date will tell you for sure. I'm not an expert, but the engine stamp looks correct to me for a 60 fuelie built in May or June. According to the C1 birthday estimater your vin was built Jun 6, so I would think everything lines up good for a correct engine. I would feel pretty good about it.

Default Chassis tag

Can the tag on the chassis and/or steering column be forged easily? In your opinion how does this tag look? Does it look like it might’ve been tampered with? It looks to new to me. Gentleman thank you so much for your time and opinions

My '60 fuelie was built in February of '61. I know my engine was re-stamped because I was the one who re-stamped it. My understanding is that after about mid December 1960 the VIN plate was moved from the door sill to the steering column with a spot weld (hard to do). My VIN tag is riveted onto the column because, at one time during its life the steering box was replaced with a service dept replacement. I checked and the chassis stamp matches that tag. Also your Rochester tag looks exactly like mine (almost unreadable unless close up). I also understand that, at least, the early VIN stamp on the engine block was done by hand (as opposed to the engine ID) so the numbers look poorly aligned. Yours look well aligned. Below is a photo of the stamp on the original block that came out of my car and is now owned by someone on the other side of the country in Washington state. Note the vin stamp alignment.
