Things I am pretty confident of on my 61.
The car still has original Roman Red paint. Based on witness marks in the paint and color fade lines the car at one time had a hardtop on it. If I understand the previous posts there is no way to confirm that it came from the factory with a Hardtop unless I find an HT marking behind the passenger seat or in the trunk? If it did have a hardtop there is no way to determine whether it was Ermine White or Roman Red?
All 1961 Corvettes that came with factory hardtops, the hardtop was ALWAYS body color. No matter what body color the headliner was ALWAYS white in 1961.
