Default Twin Turbo C8 Z06 Track Results by Cicio Performance

You guys asked for it and we delivered. The initial results from our first outing with the Twin Turbo C8 Z06 exceeded our expectations. The C800Z got a few kills in the roll race bracket - making it to the quarter finals. We will post some of those videos later this week in our social media so make sure to give us a follow on Instagram and Facebook! The team at Z Max did a great job of keeping the track together despite 100+ degree track temps, as you can see the DA was rough.

The Z06 laid down 4.9x 60-130s (high 147-149 trap) all weekend long despite the heat. We were still seeing some tire spin on the leave due to the 21” wheel/tire setup. We are upgrading that now and hope to go even a hair faster!

We fought traction pretty hard when launching the car. Ultimately, leaving without launch control gave us the best results. We believe the time will drastically reduce with a proper wheel & tire setup. 10.1 was the best pass of the weekend.

Knowing the conditions of the track, we opted into running ms109 over 93 for the event. Coupling this with adding ice into the intercooler kept the temps manageable throughout the weekend.

TLDR: The C800Z package has proven to put down some impressive times even in the heat of the day/summer. Capable of 4s 60-130. Tire limited from factory!

Check out our social media throughout the week for more content.

Here's video and dragy data of the car at the track this past weeked:

Thanks for sharing! Are you folks planning for road course tests as well to see how it copes in terms of cooling?

No plans on taking it to the road course. However, the customer does plan on taking it to some 1/2 mile events!

To be clear, we opted to add ice to optimize results because the track was extremely hot that day. The air-to-water intercooler system is extremely efficient and does not require ice.

Thank you for the reply!

The customer has them!

As you can imagine, the short track wasn't the best due to the wheel/tire setup but the trap speed is were we knew the car would really shine.
