Let's be honest C7>C8 in terms of looks and originality. C7 is just trying to be itself, not Ferrari 458 mixed with McLaren 720s like the C8. This is my personal opinion. With that being said, I made my C7 more badass than any other C7/C8 on the planet with a complete conversion based on a C7.R 3D scan that was ripped from a popular race simulator. I 3D scanned my car and subtracted that CAD file from the race car model. I was left with extensions and additions which I milled on my CNC machine. I built that CNC machine and the 3D scanner from scratch...because I am a car guy desperate to make things that I cannot afford. It took 10 months to make the mold and kit. The molds consists if over 50 pieces. The wrap that I had installed was intended to mimic the camouflage C7.R prototype. Pratt and Miller found my car at VIR and posted it on their Instagram as 10/10, so that was the epitome of confirmation. I was happy that I didn't get a cease and desist. Any way, with that being said...lots of online folk complained about the wrap. They didn't get what I was going for. Personally, I like my cars in white. I have 3 cars..Camry, Telluride, Vette..all white. I'm re-releasing my C7.R inspired replica in white, stage 1 cam, muffler delete, DoD delete, AWE track exhaust, BC coilovers, BC forged custom 18" 12.5"/13" wide wheels, Nitto tires (Micheline race tires are 1000% better but not street legal but still) ,. hope you all appreciate it and keep it positive. It's fine if pictures don;t do it justice, but I cannot drive 20 miles without 3 people flagging me down to tell me my car is sick..Love the C7. Please enjoy and keep it positive...we are all car guys. Welcome to the mind of a loco car fanatic. Also, I'm building C6.R replica for a customer in my shop right now.Welcome to North Carolina.

Good thing it's your car and not theirs. Who cares what their opinions are, you're the one who did an incredible amount of work and created a masterpiece.

That thing looks freaking amazing. Love it all the way down to the wrap. NICE WORK!

Kinda wish I knew how to photoshop that Beautiful Thing in SINISTER BLACK
Great work and patience. You did a good job getting your vision to paper and then to life. I like the heavy width look on Corvettes. Every generation just seems to accept it well. If it was me I would put a couple intakes on either side of the front grill. I think the huge width makes the grill look too small. Plus they could serve as extra cooling for brakes or engine. Being I have the Z06, rear ducts would also be necessary for cooling. I also agree that a rear spoiler would make the entire car "pop" really well.
An absolute great job all around though. I really enjoy seeing people's passions play out. Some of you guys missed your calling
Thanks, everybody, for your kind and affirmative words. Since this is modeled after the C7.R, I do have the C7.R spoiler with custom machined brackets. I simply wanted to locally drive this around without as much attention that I got with the wrap and giant wing. I'll reinstall the spoiler at some point, it's in my basement. You can see it in the picture that Pratt & Miller posted above
Such a crazy build bro amazing work! Wish you would of had a build thread going on here but I watched your vid on it and crazy amount of work! I would know because I'm working on something similar but using 3d printing/scanning instead of cnc!
