I know this has been covered before but the pictures that show which wires that need a jumper dont come uo anymore because they were from photobucket.
my Z06 is a 2009 and would like the details on removal and the jumper needed for my car.

Easier thing to do is to just remove the OnSpy antenna from the windshield. It just pops right off and you can unplug it. Can then just lever off the metal mount from the windshield. That will also pop right off. I did this to my car a few years ago.
There's also a fusebox on the passenger side floorboard behind the carpet. Pull it back and look on the far left side fourth spot up marked OnStar. Pull that fuse out. (Don't pull the VCIM fuse. I initially tried that and it killed the power to my radio).
