Default ID Chevy dual quad #3739653

I have a Chevy dual quad aluminum intake manifold I purchased many years ago and am trying to determine if possible what year and model this may have been originally installed. It is marked part #3739653 GM and has a 6 sided star with a W just below the part #. I've read people referring to casting dates but I don't see any other markings. Any help would be appreciated.

I agree with Gary. I might add that this manifold was used for both the 245 & 270 hp engines.

Casting date is on the bottom: you have to remove the shield to find it.
