Default 25 e mpg

3 rd trip 564 miles round trip [ 1 refuel] 28.3 gallons = 19.9 . Cruise control @ 87 / AC on /tour mode /only 2 blasts at xxx [ nobody to play with] / 95 % highway with 10 miles in the city . Last trip was 19.3 and i was playin . Kinda looks like the v4 and tour mode was not a big factor at all, the auto stop/start never engaged because of a/c and mostly highway . I think the slight improvement was from me not shooting down mopars n stangs . The trips are for my wifes health check ups [good so far] and she goes to sleep after 45 minutes and the gas mpg gives me something to do . Car now has 10k on it by me in 10 months of driving off the showroom floor ......i think i like sport mode better as to not hear the engine noises of the 4 banger mode change and anything else making noise back there .....car ran great btw .

I got similar mpg during my 270 mile trip last weekend with my E-Ray.. Overall got about 20 miles per gallon. Did notice the last 50 miles mpg rose to 24 mpg while returning home with the cruise set to 79.

I am surprised with the MPG of my ERay. I expected better mileage, though I don't really care. My C7 Z51 8spd which has numerous external engine mods and an E85 kit and E85 tune gets about the same mileage using only E85. Recently my ERay got 22.9 mpg running around 72-73 for 160 miles. Did notice that headwinds really affect the milage.

Back when I had a new 66' C2 327-350hp 4 spd, I was excited when I occasionally got 13-14mpg!!!

(NOT) Bob&Weave here in IA.... Not enough traffic! Too many cops....

Someone should go and hyper-mile their car, see how good they can get.

I bought a new Mustang with the 3.7 305HP V6 ands 6-speed back in 2012, went and did a trip to Dallas, specifically trying for fuel economy, set cruse on 65 and ran from Conroe TX to Dallas, all interstate, got a measured 35.6 MPG.
Return trip with CC set at 75 and it dropped to 26.9.

Would be cool if you could get base C5/C6/C7 fuel economy out of it, like 28-29 MPG @70 mph cruise setting.

I have not done any trips over 100 miles in either my traded Stingray for my ERay and both @ 75 20-22mpg either in manual mode so no 4 banger or Sport in the ERay as with after market exhaust I do not like the sound of the exhaust as a 4 banger. Most of the time I am around 13-15mpg as the go pedal has issues not being used.

I as a rule first shut off DRL then dial up sport but just as a test i wanted to try tour on the trip to see if it improved mpg , the first 2 trips says no to very little improvement . Wife also drives the car but never changes anything on start up ....gas wise she ALWAYS let me get in when its low....saying fueling is mans work .

I did this with my C8Z right before I got my E-Ray and there's at best a 1.5mpg difference I did both tests on a toll highway without stopping around 50mi stretch at 75mph. I was quite surprised thinking that the E-Ray would be much better.

I do notice that the E-Ray stays in V4 for uphill at 75mph or so while using 30hp or so from the ev side and that the car in touring or my mode will run the battery down to 40% of so until regen kicks in. Then it stays in V8 unless downhill until the cycle starts over again.

Where the big change was in mpg for my C8Z was was around town. The LT2 is just better at low speed because it operated at lower rpm with more torque I guess.
