Does anyone in NJ do work on vintage 1973 Chevy Corvettes?
Hi All! I am new to this forum. I have a vintage1973 Chevy Corvette that needs some work to be done on it. I am located in North Jersey. Is there anyone who could make some recommendations of where I can take my car to be worked on? I appreciate any suggestions. Thank you!
Unfortunately, the future of the best Corvette shop in NJ, Hillside Corvettes in Bridgewater is currently in limbo as they recently lost their lease. Right now the owner is stuck between trying to find a new location or closing and retiring. The only other Corvette specialty shop I know of is Corvette Paramedics in Mt Holly. Depending where in "Northern NJ" you are, you might want to consider The Corvette Shop in Montgomery NY (about 40 minutes up the NY Thruway from where Rt 17 enters NY) or Jim Glass Corvette in Kingston NY (about an hour up the Thruway from the NJ/NY border).
Hopefully someone else here knows of other reputable shops. You might want to post this question in the Northeast Section of the Forum too. In that section you'll get owners of other generation Corvettes from Jersey who don't have a C3 so never come here, but might know of other NJ shops.
