I am working on my '64 factory AC with 327/300. I need to double check my existing A6 Compressor bolt where the hoses connect to the back correct or not. It looks a little weird to me. I used a 9/16 socket to get it off. Total length of the bolt is 1.25" with thread length about 1". Thank you in advance.
I searched on internet and found Corvette Central has this rear bracket bolt kit with one bolt (looks similar like mine) but it has two washers (one flat and one lock). So if my bolt (not sure long enough) is correct then I need to buy the flat and lock washers. So is the order to put back in is flat washer, lock washer and then bolt?

The bolt from Corvette Central may also not be correct or accurate reproduction of the original. Ask to see pictures of the bolt head. Not sure who might have the correct/original bolt. Try Zip and also DR REBUILD. Ebay may also be a source.
I am not worry about the head mark of the bolt. I will get flat and lock washer to put all back together. I hope the bolt is long enough to handle two washers.
I have no idea what the correct bolt would look like. If someone has a link to buy from online, please share.
