Would you have some old never use sheet sets around? Perhaps check Salvation Army/Goodwill, etc. resale outlets for cheap stuff. Cheap plastic & thin is fine but I think any plastic won’t be as cheap big enough to completely cover it.

I’m about to have my house painted and of course it’ll be sprayed. Garage doors aren’t airtight so I need to cover my C8 inside.
Cheapie clear polyethylene maybe? What size and mil would be a good bet and hopefully not scratch the car?
I’ve even thought about moving blankets as a possibility.
Any ideas appreciated.
Just bought a 6 Pack of 12' X 9' disposable 0.5 mil plastic for inside furniture cover. This 6 Pack $9 on Amazon but Lowes has as well! 0.0005 inch thick won't scratch! Tape a few together.
Easy, put an old sheet on it and then get one or two of the harbor freight extra large moving blankets (80”x144”) and put them on top, they are like $20 each…I do this for a Cadillac I keep covered….
I would have them hand paint around the garage opening. Do you have the weather seal around the garage door? They are about a hundred bucks and well worth it.
I use 3M Masking Film for things like this. It's also great for detailing, touch-up chassis painting, and other projects around the house. It's very thin, won't scratch your car, disposable, and inexpensive. One of those handy products that's nice to have around! I used it to cover my HTC when I installed my Falcon window and it kept the dust out when I perfromed the cutouts.
I didn't have another location to move my vehicle to so I used several of those blue moving blankets from Harbor Freight. They're inexpensive, won't scratch your paint, and you can always use them for some project in the future.
