Scanner Danner did a video on an L98 hot start issues diagnosis

It's an hour long, but I've always like Paul's strong diagnostic skills (at least he seems that way to me). It is an 88 Firebird but still applicable to L98 C4s of the same vintage of course. Underscores how tricky some of these aftermarket parts can be when they don't completely function correctly out of the box too (such as the MAF)

My pleasure Viking, Paul is good at his trade for sure! I also like how he doesn't cover his mistakes when he barks up the wrong tree or make it seem way easier than it is.

anyone know what type of scanner he is using here?

dropped a screenshot into ai and its a snap on verus edge. love it.

Yes, it's a nice professional tool. (quite expensive) In part 1 of the series, he discusses the adapter needed to connect the Verus to his old snap on red brick 12 pin connector. It's at 9:38 in the video below.
