Hi Everyone,
Been a while since I've been on here. Just been enjoying my C5 and doing minor upgrades. I have an issue with the parking light illumination on my HVAC controls. None of the back ground (parking lights) on my controller work. The display works fine (one of the first repairs I made to my car several years ago). The "on" lights work (i.e. A/C, recirc, defrost, etc.). I just don't have any background lights when I turn the lights on. Do they all go bad at once? I've been considering doing a LED upgrade but want to make sure there isn't some other problem before I go that route.
Please let me know if there is anything else that I should be looking into before I begin changing bulbs and find out that there was a different issue.

The lights in the HVAC Unit are independent and will go out one at a time.
I just purchased my C5 at the beginning of May of this year. My Vette had a similar issue. Most of my buttons were out and the led display was dim that I couldn't see most of the information.
I recently just had my HVAC Unit redone in red to match my Vette. Here's some pictures right before it got sent back to me. Red Buttons w/White Indicators Red Buttons w/White Indicators. I'm planning to remove the passenger side **** and replace it with a solid **** to match the driverside.
