The GCI Outdoor PICO Arm Chair is a highly portable, full-sized director's chair famous for its patented telescoping frame. It folds down to 1/16th of its size (about the dimensions of a laptop case) and stores conveniently in a messenger-style bag that doubles as a chair-back storage caddy.
Pricy but very good quality and can put 2 in the frunk no problem.

I second the PICO chair. Two will fit in the frunk easily. I carry mine behind my seats inside the car.

My bad. I just did a test fit and they are too long when folded up by a good 6” or so. Fit easily in trunk. I bought these when I had my C7 and I thought they would fit in frunk.
I have looked at these several times but never pulled the trigger. Never thought about putting them behind the seats. That’s a game changer. I’ll be looking for the best price now. Thanks

Reason: Spelling
I just searched for the PICO but only could find very expensive providers, so i checked and GCI has apparently discontinued the PICO, replacing it with this one, which is on sale at GCI, probably elsewhere online as well, same 1/16th storage feature
Being in S. Florida where the sun can get brutal, I have one of those folding chairs that has an overhead sun shade. Great chair, but only fits in the trunk. Not an issue unless I want to take my top off. Not enough room in the trunk for both.
I buy stuff from amazon because returns are so easy. Drop off at any UPS Store, Whole Foods, Kohl's. Don't even need the original packing. They'll box it for you. There is a UPS Store in every anchored strip mall it seems. Choose the gift card refund option you'll have the money done in 2-3 hours. A while back, the amazon email saying my return was complete beat me home.

How does that work. My seats are all the way back. We are talking about C8s right?

I bought these for shade. Or drizzle in the PNW. Different varieties available
