Default How to fix broken exhaust studs??

Thinking about trying an extractor but I wanna see if you guys have had this problem and fixed it. I’m afraid of making it worse. I already have replacement studs and hardware. Just wondering what the easiest way to remove the old studs is. I couldn’t get vice grips to work

Use heat on the exhaust flange, and a stud extractor to grip the stud. I've also had good results using the crayon method circulating on social media, it works.

Jam up two M10x1.5 Nuts on each and heat on the Flange, twist right out. If they are press in, heat the Flange and drive them out.

Excuse to buy headers.

If you weld you could cut them below flange and weld all thread onto them.
