Folks,

Not to be too weird, but just a request. I am interested in a C7 Z, but I need to sit in the interior and at least get a ride from someone to know. I have a C6 Z and not really planning on selling, but want to make a decision on a C7 at this time. If you would be willing to show off your car, PM me your number and I will reach out. I am right outside of the Southern Pines area.

There's little difference interior wise between the various c7 models, so you should be able to find one for sale near you to check out.

The c7 has tighter and smaller feel inside than the c6, which some like, some dont.

I bit the bullet and joined facebook as a family member let me look and there will be one on marketplace I can check out. There are a couple on the forum for sale, but nothing close to me. I really don't want to waste their time until I know.

I have looked at the interior and there is a visible difference in the space for sure. I will have to sit in one to really get a feel for that. I like the interior better on the C7, but I have upgraded my C6 interior, so not enough difference for me to care too much.

Lastly, going from 2 CTSV's to the original C6 Z with the original build, I was very disappointed and really missed the low/mid power band of the 6.2 with a roots supercharger. The Corvette really only felt good between 4500-7000 rpm's. That has been corrected and it now has an awesome power band with very good low end, great mid/top. I know what I have after spending waaay too much and in the modified car world, that, in itself, is worth quite a bit.

I had a c6 coupe previously. While I liked the general layout, I much prefer the c7 as it feels more sporty and like a cockpit.

The c7 materials, seats, and other features are much improved too. It was unexpected that the c7 seats are firmer and more supportive but also more comfortable for longer drives. C6 analog vs c7 mixed analog/digital gauges are subjective. I like both for what they offer.

With a c7z, there's a lot of low to mid range torque, which will feel quite different from the c6z.

Good luck. If possible, many would recommend keeping your c6z as it's a special car in its own right.
