[C2] Washer pump not working on 66

Washer pump not working on 66
When I push the bottom on the switch the wipers doesn't turn on and the pump only makes one clicking noise instead clicking about ten seconds. I replaced the switch and still have the same problem. Thanks in advance for your help.

That sounds like the solenoid in the pump is working but the cam driven wheel that is then supposed to rotate until the cycle is complete is not working and all of this is tied to the washer piston so no squirts. You need to rebuild the washer pump. If you are lucky, the piston is stuck in the bore and doesn't return to engage. Since you said the wipers don't turn on, do they work when you turn them on? ... and then what happens when you push the button?

You can try the washer rebuild kit from Corvette Central but I don't think they include the parts you need nor have I seen a kit that does much more than replace the check valves. I would look on eBay for a pump because that beats sending your wiper motor off for a rebuild.
