Mid America Motorworks devastated by tornado
Thoughts and prayers go out to the Mid America team. A devastating tornado destroyed their buildings last night.

Mid America Corvette....now Mid America Motorworks, was one of the first Corvette parts suppliers. They started in 1974 and they were smart enough to first collect and distribute GM Photographic copies of our AIM's!
The Assembly Instruction Manual. I have an original set of 1968 and 1969 AIMs. They have GM Photographic on the top of each page and they have a table of contents in the beginning. We owe them a huge debt for that.
Since I have had my 68 coupe since September of 1972, I used their products along with M. F. Dobbins engine compartment decals and new company Zip products.
Then the bain of our Corvettes, the forever leaking calipers that GM was oh so willing to sell you new ones, was solved by George Jonas that started Stainless Steel Brake Corporation with their innovative SS sleeves.
