I just plugged in my 2019 2LT M7 with 5600 miles and got a price of $59,400. But the funny part is last month it was $57,400 and the month before that it $58,400. I might be selling (don't want to) but a possible medical problem might force me, hence why I'm checking prices. I'll know this week where I stand on that front. I bought this car new and are well aware of the prices thru the years but $59,400 thru a third party is great. These cars are really holding value.
With the M7 you'd probably get more selling it yourself.
Oh I know the car in itself is worth $3K- $5K more than what they are offering but my point was I was pleasantly surprised that Carvana was offering that much. I figured they would be a lot lower and still ask for top dollar when they sell it.
Carvana offered me $45,000 for my 2017, stingray, 2LT, M7 convertible, black on black with 9500 mi the other day. I thought that was $5K low, but that's what we all think, right?
Search on Autotrader seems like only about 2 in the country with similar year, miles and options and both were GS going for $65K
Its my wife's car and at 72 she says she is done shifting, wants an auto.
2019 GS 2 LT M7 with the few miles on it would go for closer to $70k retail. I have run the KBB, Edmunds, and NADA numbers on mine with 3700 miles and get a trade-in up to $69k and retail at $73k.
Don't get hung up on prices. Always what someone is willing to pay. Carvana is no different and is lower rightfully so as they pretty much buy sight unseen.
People will pay for specifics...color/trim etc. Seems people get more picky and willing to pay when you get into GS/Z06 trim. Region and timing plays a huge roll.
If you aren't looking for top dollar and just want to dump something, Carvana seems to make it easy. I would toss mine in there just for fun, but I don't want to be hounded down the road about it. '19 GS M7 1LT 15k mi

No, the funny part is that you've only driven it only 5600 miles, lol!
Yes, I get it that low miles looks like we are saving for the next guy. My wife and I are retired, drive maybe 5000 mi a year (that includes one trip to FL each year) and that mileage is spread out over
3 cars, a SUV, a Jag and a Corvette. The Jag and Corvette get less than 1000 mi per year. Even the SUV is 3yr old and only has 10K mi on it with 3 trips to FL. I'm saving the SUV for the next owner !!
I figure you could get anywhere from $5-10K more selling private party for a GS depending on the person's specific values in what they are looking for and options the car has.
Last year I bought my '19 GS M7 1LT with 8100 mi and CPO GM warranty expired March of this year for $61k out of NJ private party (AWE midpipe/MGW shifter/ACS aero bits). I valued the low miles and stock (I don't like other peoples hands in stuff other than mine). I would have PREFERRED a 2LT 2019 in blue ('19 blue is not the same as the darker previous years) but those were very hard to come by. Ventilated seats would be a nice touch.
Currently sitting at ~15k mi and I drive/autocross it every chance I can. I buy them to drive them!
Carvana is a "I need to sell fast with no hassles at a reasonable price" type of thing IMO.
