Will the GSX have the synthesized electric interior sound just like the Eray? Or will it be no sound like the ZR1X or an option to mute, control the volume, or change the tone?

If your talking about that electric motor sound, the zr1x has it like the eray so I'm assuming the GSX will too. I've noticed it's muted after 4th gear.
Yeah it hasn't gone anywhere as stated above. Its there in the ZR1x. Hopefully they start putting an option to turn it off. Not sure of the brainiac that came up with this in GM, but hopefully they have moved on or went back to ford or something. At least they have option to turn off. That way people whom like the fake sound can turn it on and people whom dont, can simply turn it off.
They can't remove the option, it's a federal requirement (FMVSS 141) to allow pedestrians (especially the blind)to know there is a vehicle nearby.
Every car that can travel via electric only must make a sound.

Your highly mistaken on what we are referring too. We are not talking about the outbound sounds the car makes in fully electric mode so people, animlas, etc can hear the vehicle in parking lots etc. That is regulated and a must. We are talking about the fake sound that is pumped over your internal speakers overtop of your music etc to give a fake sound of the electric motors working and or providing hp.

That's not what they are talking about. Pretty sure they are talking about the interior synthesized "whine" under WOT.
Had my E-Ray 29 months. Many sprints at WOT, about the only time I can hear my NPP always set at Track. At, that time
no way you will hear a fake sound from the electric motor. Too busy holding on as past tripe didgits in seconds. Normal cruising the electric motor is OFF waiting for coasting or braking to charge the battery. Or accelerating. With modest acceleration hear little of anything. Wonder if those who say the don’t like the fake sound have one! Yep perhaps I hear something a few times. My dog who’s- ears are better than mine is passenger when he goes to the groomer etc. He \has done 0 to 60 tests with me several times. He loves speed. Even his ears don’t appear to pick-up the sound.
The last thing I’m concerned with in my planned 2027 GSX if the electric motor sound real or fake. In fact in my coupe windows up, roof on the way I always drive NPP SET TO track is to quiet, was that way in my 2020 C8 Z51. So I am springing for the $2000 Center Exhaust in hopes I get some additional exhaust sound sitting in the drivers seat. Frankly as quiet as the exhaust is tire and road noise still come thru. So my sound system is on 99% of the time playing >1500 songs in shuffle mode from a flash drive. Perhaps Janis Joplin singing “Cry Baby” is making whatever fake sound some hear. As I said if just cruising at a steady speed where everting is pretty quiet, the EV motor is putting out zero power. It’s not a Prius.

My Bad. What I get for responding before the coffee kicks in !
Now, I have to confess, I haven't noticed any fake motor sounds in my 26 Eray, I keep the exhaust set to track and usually have the music on and the top down.
Guess I'll have to take a drive with the top up and no music.

Ditto, I have no idea what noise they speak of. now, that might be partly due to working on F-15 Fighter jets and HD gas turbines so my hearing is pretty much shot
Years ago, kids were making some of their ring tones over 15Khz as they found out in school that as people get older. Some individuals loose the ability to hear such frequency's. This may affect some of us in that the sound is never heard if the frequency of that fake sound us upwards 15Khz.

It's only there under WOT, and it increases in volume as speed increases. Going WOT at lower speeds, you probably won't notice it top down and music up. Get out on the highway at 70MPH, top up, turn the music down, and then go WOT and you'll likely hear it better.
