Default Rain

My biggest top-down fail was at a Corvette fund raiser in Newport News, VA. My 2005, C6, top refused to go up when we had a sudden storm. We were in open with zero cover. Used blankets & cardboard from fellow Corvette owners to save the interior. A simple limit switch was found inoperative later. Only one time.

I had a 1960 Austin-Healey 100-6. It had the VERY rare convertible/hardtop. I was on my way to the airport, that was just a couple miles away. I put the top on the car but didn't properly secure it. Not going that fast, but the top blew off my car and cartwheeled into the ditch. I could see parts breaking off of it. I was so freaked out, I didn't even go get it.

I always forgot about the rear tires of my '95 Roadster. I usually wear light blue Levi's. Whenever, I put the top up/down, I always forgot about the tires and got tire marks on my knees.
