I went with a 1991 Camaro serpentine belt system and the included CS130 type alternator and can't figure out the wiring. My 1981 Base has two feeds, one red and one black, but the new alternator appear to only take the red feed? Has anyone else gone down this path? I'm getting sparks at the battery, like a dead short somewhere.

I would have recommended a 140 amp CS144 but that's neither here nor there now.
Here is a posting on upgrading to CS130. You need to ensure you have the appropriate adapter harness. Part numbers are within the article. Check to ensure you got the appropriate adapter from your old SI harness to the new CS130 alternator.

If you keep having issues with this cs130 and you have to replace it, then consider going to a 140 amp CS144..... I really liked mine when I had it.
