So the M1M DCT had a redesign …anyone know why?
New stator
I have a 2024 c8 z06. My clutches had snap ring failure taking out the stator and grinding the case. I had super stock clutches from Dodson here ready to go and ordered a new GM transmission. The new transmission has same numbers on it for same year but the stator and clutch are different so now I have to figure out how to swap the clutch packs or use an old stator design.
I know they switched factories around 2022 to Canada and GM took over assembly of some of the DCT transmissions . It got moved back to tremec in 2025 sometime (Michigan) and my transmission is updated and has a new design, anyone know why?
