strict state—cams on stock exhaust manifold

I live in SoCal, I believe they are crazy about catless systems here. I’d love a stage 2 cam but don’t want to risk being not CARB compliance. Is anyone running cams on stock exhaust manifolds, or know a reason why I shouldn’t?

There's no reason you can't run a cam with stock manifolds. Doesn't CA check the tune though? If so you would fail due to the changes in the tune you'd need to make for the cam.
