Got the car but not the girl...

Nothing technical here…
Just a HS memory that came upon me at the local Publix.

Senior yr of high school our HS queen was sitting on top of a C3 like this one…and I thought “DAM I WANT HER AND THAT CAR!!!!”
…didn't get her but I finally got a corvette…C8 but I would prefer that C3. I walked around and it just brought back memories.

Jealous of you all. I bought my…well…my wife's C8 for our 25yr anniversary in 2023…she died 5 months later. I still drive it.

I’m glad to be a part of the Corvette community.

You have survived some tragedies. Enjoy your Corvette and remember often. It helps me as well, still after 20 years

Perhaps you got the right girl afterall. Good to hear you're driving her C8!

(Psst: you can get into a decent driving and looking C3 for half of a base C8... just sayin'.)
