Free tires
When I bought my car it had two Fuzion ZR1 W rated 245 45 R17's on the front and two Bridgestone 275 40 ZR18 Z rated Potenza S03's on the back. I picked up a roofing nail in the right rear tire and took the car in to a nearby Goodyear store to fix it. They would not repair it because it wasn't a Goodyear tire and plugging the tire would void the speed rating. Despite my explanation that I didn't drive 145 that often, they refused to repair it. So, I'll show them. I took the car to Bridgestone and they wouldn't repair it either, said the puncture was too close to the sidewall. So, how about sell me a tire then because these are in generally good condition. Nope, can't do that because those aren't Bridgestone on the front and we won't mix brands front and rear for safety reasons.
So I bought a set of Kumho's and kept the other tires for this forum. And here's the kicker. The right front had picked up a nail or something some time in the past and had a patch in almost exactly the same place relative to the sidewall as the rear.
What I have:
Fuzion fronts with at least 7/32" tread (10/32" new) with a patch needed on the right front about an inch or so inboard from the edge of the tread.
Bridgestone rears with 5/32" tread (8/32" new).
I don't have a way to ship these so someone in middle Tennessee can pick up a deal on some tires that have at least another 15,000 miles in them.
I don't have photos and don't have a way to ship them. If somebody wants some tires at the right price (free) let me know.
