This is a very busy weekend in Charleston. Your best bet is to get on line and contact several hotels in the area. Quality Suites is our host hotel. Their info is on our web site. Tanger Outlet is in a very central location. Look forward to seeing you.

FYI: The Charleston Air Expo that was supposed to be held that same weekend has been CANCELLED
Here is the press release:
Here is the press release:
The Charleston Air Force Base's 2010 Air Expo, originally scheduled for April 17, has been canceled because of increased operations and personnel tempos in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
Aaircrews with the 437th Airlift Wing are flying cargo and passenger airlift missions in support of the current troop plus-up in Afghanistan as called for by the President. The airlift capability is a key component of the Air Force's air bridge taking people and cargo to forward operating locations.
"We don't take the decision lightly," said Col. Martha Meeker, 628th Air Base Wing commander. "However, in the end, supporting the advancement of freedom to those who've never known what it's like to set their own course must take priority."
Base officials emphasize that they fully recognize the importance of the Air Expo to military recruiting and to community appreciation and understanding of the base's mission. HOWEVER, the Blue Angels are still committed to performing for the Charleston community that same weekend and will fly a demonstration over the Charleston Harbor as a finale for the Charleston Naval Week activities.
As these activities are finalized, we will post them here.
Base leadership is hoping to schedule another Air Expo for sometime in 2011 or early 2012.

"Due to the increased Afghanistan surge operations tempo, the Charleston Air Expo has been cancelled. We are hosting the Blue Angels for a community-sponsored performance, which is no longer an Air Force event.
That performance will happen the weekend of 17 Apr 10 and will be co-hosted by the City of Charleston and the Town of Mt. Pleasant".
Sounds like the Blue Angles will be flying around the Charleston area on the 17th of April.
Join all the fun and exitment at the Vetts Doin Charleston and hopefully see the Blue Angles! http://www.4cccc.org/
