I'm looking forward to going on Friday. Hope the weather holds out. It's been lousy the last three years.

The weather doesn't look too good for Friday, but Saturday looks great.
They're going to have some nice cars at auction. Auction is Friday and Saturday this year.
Cruise is Friday night and ends at Dixie Stampede, Reservations should be made soon if you're going to eat with the cruise folks. Be sure to ask for group sales, it'll save you a few bucks.

Who all is planning on going to the Corvette Expo in Sevierville TN on the 26,27 of this month? I've never been to this event so school me on the details. We'lll probably be coming up Saturday morning and possibly staying overnight. Wheres the best places to stay? I know thats just a skip from Gatlinburg, so that is probably where we'll stay.
How many of you guys are planning on going? Is there going to be a CF gathering place or time for some of us to meet up? It'd be great to meet up with some of you folks just to say hi.....

I40 is still blocked.
Just use Sevierville Tennessee as a destination for your "GPS. (It ain't very big). There will be plenty of signs guilding you there. The events center is between Sevierville and I 40. Less than 1 mile from center of the city.
Here's the Web site link.

Last fall was my last trip. There used to be lots of used parts at the old location but now it appears that the main focus is on the auction anf fluff from the same overpriced vendors that show up at all the shows. Until they bring back the the used parts guys I am staying home.

There are still a few that do shows, but many have found on line takes less effort.
I know of several that will be there this spring.
Most deal in later model stuff, C-4 & C- 5 with a bit of C-6 stuff.
One guy comes down from Pennsylvania and another local deals in salvage stuff. There are several vendors that carry new replacement things for older cars. Salvage parts for C-3 and back are getting scarcer.

What time do we need to get there to not miss anything good? We'll swing by the ET booth around noon to say hi to you guys. Not sure we'll recognize any of you cause we've never seen ya, so I'm posting a pic of my wife and I.....if you see us, please say hi

Jeff, your only direct routes are 441 north of Cherokee or US25/70 between Mars Hill (north of Asheville) and Newport. I've been on both routes in the last week - including 441 during an ice/snow storm before it was closed.
US64 is still a lockout at Ducktown, TN but the alternative (TN 68) is a lot of fun and will bring you out near Tellico Plains where you can pick up 411 and go to Sevierville.
The 25/70 route is a joy to run with 8-15% grades, big sweeping turns and awesome views. It's 66 miles between Mars Hill and Newport and make sure you're gassed up as there are few 97+ stations on this route. Once you get thru Hot Springs, you'll be on the Dixie Highway along the French Broad River all the way to Newport. It's 30 miles to Sevierville from there on 321.

Many ETCC club members will have name badges.
The ETCC booth is near the show car area at the back of the building.
I will be wearing an all access pass as will my other brother Steve.
Friday afternoon and Saturday I'll be sworking the auction.
Friday evening the other Steve and I will be directing the cruise.
I was up there today helping to lay out the floor plan, the weather is looking better and a lot of vendors are coming. John Llewellen will have almost a complete C-5 he just dis-assembled. I know the guy from Pennsylvania always has a lot of C-5 and C-6 parts. Al Knoch will attend again as will many other after market guys. Good weather means more outside vendors.
The forecast calls for possible showers Friday morning ending by noon. upper 50's,,,60's with plentiful sunshine on Saturday.

The location is along the main entrance (TN route 66) to Sevierville, Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg and THE GREAT SMOKY MOUNTAIN NATIONAL PARK. This site is approximately 7 miles south of I-40 exit 407 on TN State Route 66. Turn right at traffic signal number 17.4.
Set your GPS to Sevierville center city , Once there, Look for traffic light 17.4,,,There may be several Vettes driving around that area Friday and Saturday.
