Don't Bet Your Vette Poker Run For Autism Speaks w/video
Yes folks Classic Glass is doing their 4th Annual Poker Run to benefit Austism Speaks.
The date is APRIL 9, 2011
Rain date is April 16, 2011
Start and finish is at Bogey's Restaurant at 1085 Buckhead Crossing, Woodstock, GA 30189.
Start time is 10am for a staggered start.
Particpants will follow a set route to 3 mandatory check points. At each check point the participant will draw a raffle ticket to be used at the end of the run in a drawing for PRIZES.
This year we are adding a "Grand Champion" who will win a trophy!
PLEASE NOTE:
* This is NOT a Gumball Rally. SPEED IS NOT A FACTOR!!!!!!
* Passengers are great assets as NAVIGATORS for the run.
* This is a fundraiser for Austim Speaks. There are NO entry fees but a donation to Autism Speaks is requested if the participant had fun. It can be $5, $10, $50 ... whatever amount the participant feels his or her fun was worth to help this cause.
* Bogeys will have food and drink specials for all.
* You do NOT have to be a member of Classic Glass to join the fun.
* For more information, contact Keelie Sparks at keelie_s@bellsouth.net

Austin, the star of the movie, will be available at the end of the run for autographs & pictures! Due to health code regulations, Rex will be unavailable!

Even though it is in the opening credits of the video, it bears mentioning again that Austin, the star of this video, was diagnosed with Austism at age 5. Because of the resources provided to us through the contacts at Autism Speaks and the Marcus Institute, Austin is happy 15 yr old sophmore (and future vette enthusiast).

The excitement is building. Just finished the final draft of the directions. Remember that having a navigator in the passenger seat gives you a BIG advantage! If you've got one - bring a clipboard to hold the directions and write the answers down on.

hey - I haven't been here in a while. Gave my vette to my dad in October for his birthday, but I'm going to be in town that weekend, so dad and I might be in for it. I've done this event two years in a row, and it's an absolute blast!
