Jumping For A Purpose August 14
Jumping For A Purpose is a veteran-led initiative that brings together over 40 Wounded Warriors giving them a chance to skydive and honoring them with a day of music, food and community support. The event is being organized and sponsored by Matt Thompson of TroopSwap. Skydive Suffolk will be shutting down public operations for the day to provide all available resources to the veterans. All proceeds will directly support the Wounded Warrior Project.
Matt has asked The Colonial Corvette Club to bring our cars to the event for picture opportunities with the participants. This is by no means a car show! It's an opportunity to honor some great Americans. So if you want to join in the fun and celebration, bring your Corvette to the Suffolk Executive Airport on Sunday, August 14 from 9:00 to 5:00.
