Charlotte folks, where do you take your cars (dealers don't count)?

I don't want anything done. I might get transferred there and I wanted to know if it is a Corvette wasteland like most of the country.

Believe it or not, City Chevrolet has a good Corvette mechanic. There is also one in McKenney Chevrolet in Gastonia. Wasteland for Vettes .....................I wouldn't call it that, but then, nobody touches my Vette.

Unfortunately I can't give you first hand experience but I've heard good reviews on Tick Performance and Williams Performance which are both in Mooresville, NC. Hopefully others will chime in.

No Corvette wasteland here and we have one of the best Corvette only mechanic in the land here at Corvette Etc. Located near the airport, 704-394-5150 and speak with Dub. One of the best if you want it as good as factory, if not shop elsewhere.

for C5/C6's there is Tick Performance and Heintz racing (formerly Williams Performance). Both have websites and do amazing work!

I went to looking online and saw that NC has emissions testing. I suspect that with my car I'd have to live across the border in SC and commute in.

laws are meant to be broken.... I mean, I wouldn't sweat the emission stuff, there are ways around it. Some how all the converters and BS feel off my car, I've never bothered to put them back on.
