Default 2017 Corvettes On The Circle - St. Armand's Circle/Sarasota, FL - Saturday May 6th

APRIL 29TH UPDATE - REGISTRATION IS NOW CLOSED

Registration for the 2017 Corvettes on the Circle Show in beautiful, St. Armands Circle, Sarasota, FL on Saturday - May 6, 2017 is now open.

This will be the 21st year that the Skyway Corvette Club will host this show and we're expecting another great event to showcase and share our Corvette passion while donating the proceeds of the show to the Honor Flight Network of West Central Florida.

Also for the second year in a row, we will also include one-of-a-kind donations from the Corvette Racing Team for our silent auction.

In addition, the popular "Ultimate Surrender" show trophies will be back as a salute to the iconic World War II Sarasota landmark that most show participants will see as they cross the Ringling Bridge into St. Armands Circle.

Lastly, due to some re-engineering of the Circle access ramps, we now have the ability to expand capacity by 15 cars up to 175 for the show.

Links to the registration form as well as more information on the Honor Flight Network of West Central Florida are below. Please register early as we stop registration at 175 cars and last year we closed registration in early April. Not because we want to, rather because we have a capacity limit in the park and we hate turning away Corvette owners wanting to participate in the show.

Save the Wave!

^^^ Thanks for the endorsement. I agree on the location because I know many of us have spent hours sitting in parking lots at some shows and after you've checked out the other cars and socialized, there isn't much else to do.

St. Armand's Circle has great restaurants, shops, and stores to visit if you want to take a break from the show. Lido Beach is also just a short walk away and downtown Sarasota is only a short drive across the Ringling Causeway.

Shoot me a PM with your email. We sent out the flyer to all the participants from last year's show in early January and I will check our records and resend.

February 1st Update:

We're already at 60 registrations in the first three weeks since opening registration so a friendly reminder to please send in your registration forms as soon as possible if you plan to participate in the show.

Unlike some shows that have no registration limit, we are land-locked by the Circle park so although we have a slightly increased capacity for 2017, we still have a hard limit of 175 Corvettes.

(Early) March 1st Update:

We're already close to 100 reservations out of 175 so please don't wait until mid-April to reserve your slot in the show if you plan to participate. Last year we closed reservations in mid-April and we're ahead of schedule this year.

Mid-March Update:

We're 7 weeks away and we're around 110 registrations with a capacity of 175. We're ahead of last year's pace so we will probably need to close registration in mid-April so if you're interested in entering your Corvette in the show, please register soon. We're looking forward to another great show with great people and great cars!

April 1st Update:

No "fooling", we're already at 130 registered Corvettes for the show so we have 45 slots left with our expanded capacity this year. If you're interested in participating in the show, please submit your registrations as soon as possible. April is usually a crazy rush of activity leading up to the show and we're expecting another great Corvette event at one of Florida's premier locations - St. Armands Circle, Sarasota, FL. Hope to see you there!

April 19th Update:

We have 160 registrations in as of today. In prior years, we would close registration at this point, however due to the expanded capacity this year, we still have 15 open slots so if you're interested in being a registered participant, please submit your registration forms asap. We always leave a few open slots for day of show registrations, however those aren't guaranteed due to the capacity limit of the park and are first come, first serve.

Thank you for all your interest and comments. Since we're only one week out - Show is next Saturday, May 6th, we've closed registration as we're expecting a full show of about 170 Corvettes.

Even if you did not enter your Corvette, if you in the area, please stop by and check out the show. Always great people, beautiful Corvettes, great restaurants, unique retail shopping, and of course Lido beach, just a short stroll away from the Circle.

One surprising stat this year, is the growing amount of C7s entered into the show, even compared to last year. The car sure has been a hit for GM.

One last teaser...

Below is a picture from a Sarasota area drone photographer who will be on-site with us next week taking aerial photos of the show/cars. We will have a sign-up sheet at the show for anyone interested in viewing or purchasing prints post-production. There should be some really cool shots once the Circle is loaded full of Corvettes!

See ya next Saturday!

How did I get so lucky. That day is the last of my vacation (on Anna Maria). I'll be there.
