Default Tampa Area - Recommendation For Head Unit Install

Anyone in the Tampa area have a recommendation for a good shop to handle the installation of an aftermarket head unit in my 2011 coupe?

Thanks in advance.

I had a JL stealth box and amp installed in my 2013 Ram at Soundwaves on 60. My wife actually had it done as a birthday present. She called and talked to multiple shops and soundwaves was the only one that would give her the time of day and were willing to explain to her the options and differences in the subs to install in the truck. Install is super clean, amp mounted under the drivers seat and all wires hidden/tucked.

Call Vern at Chevy Service in Clearwater (727) 585-0000.

He is a great dude and knows these cars inside and out.

MCOR is the place that I’ve had all of my audio work done over the years. Great group of installers and the owner, Matt, is a stand-up guy. I typically do not make recommendations, but in this case, I have no qualms.

I've used Soundwaves a couple times for my C6 Vert for audio (you can see the components in my sig) as well as sound insulation throughout; they've been exemplary to work with.

MCOR did the tint on my C6 and I was happy with the service and their work. Had them price a couple systems and decided on the Pioneer AVH 4201 NEX which includes a backup camera. They were willing to price match and Pioneer has a $150 rebate. Install scheduled for Tuesday.
Best of all, my wife is making this my Christmas present!

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all!

It turned out great. Really pleased with the look and sound of the head unit. The back up camera is a big plus. I now have USB and HDMI ports instead of the lighter. Also have a USB port in the center console. MCOR did a quality job and spent time with me setting up the head unit and going over its features. Overall an excellent experience and I will recommend them to others. Thanks for your recommendation and interest. Happy New Year!

Would you be able to use a front end camera for parking with that unit.

Im looking for something with a front camera so I don't bang up my splitter .

Yes, this head unit has inputs for both front and rear cameras. I elected to hold off on a front camera for the time being. I am very pleased with the unit, it's sound and it's features. Good luck!
