Default Anyone have a Tech 2 I can borrow in Greensboro, NC area?

As title states... I have an airbag light on the Corvette and my GM truck (Escalade) and would like to read the codes to see what they are, especially on the truck since it's common for a sensor to go out but I'm not sure which one it is.

Does anyone have a Tech 2 in the Greensboro area I can borrow for a few hours? Anywhere from Charlotte to Raleigh is pretty much fine, I can drive to you and buy you lunch or something for helping me out.

I was going to buy a knock off but hate to do that for needing to use it literally to read codes on two vehicles and that's it.

Thanks

It's a 2007 Escalade and 2005 Corvette

Truck - I have a 2005 Duramax - and I had to replace the sensor that was on the frame cross member on the drivers side - it was above the skid plate near the diff.

$40 sensor from Dorman.

Corvette - have you pulled the drivers seat out to check if the wiring has frayed or completely snapped off?

My 2005 Vette the wire had totally snapped off - I got the AC Delco harness and cut and soldered it in - and that fixed the Vette.

FYI - I basically replicated your external Fuel Pump setup - actually I bought most of the pieces off a member here that never installed it. Car made 650 rwhp on E85!

Yeah it's probably one of the sensors for the truck but not sure if it's driver or passenger side, I also swapped out the steering wheel (heater quit working) around the same time and was pretty hard on the clock spring, I can't remember if the light came on before or after.. so I'm up to 3 things it could be basically

You're more than likely right about the Corvette.. it started around the time I pulled the driver seat out so it's probably that connector everyone has problems with, I figured I'd check it out and be sure if I get access to a tech 2

That's awesome, glad it's working for you. I found the space around the fuel tank to be tighter than it looks in pics but once everything was in there it packaged pretty well. I haven't dyno'd mine but ran 163mph in the 1/2 and think it would have done 165mph with a decent driver (and rear end that wasn't ready to explode at any minute)
