Default Museum delivery - finding the way home to S. FL

I will be taking delivery of a new Z06 in late January, and will be taking the road trip back to southwest FL.

I'm wondering if anyone has some local knowledge of some great two lane country roads that would send me this direction through KY, TN, GA?

I'd hate to spend my first miles in my new car on the dreaded 'superslab'!!

Thanks guys

Agree, I make that trip a lot and would love to find an alternate route at times

The only really practical option I see is US 41, but it can be really congested in the cities (Nashville, Chattanooga, Atlanta). Whatever route you decide to take, I hope you have an enjoyable and safe ride in your new Vette!

Highway 19 south out of Atlanta into Florida is nice and scenic. I would break the trip into 4 or 5 sections starting with back roads from Bowling Green into Nashville and then back roads again down to Atlanta to catch Highway 19. Then once you get into a Florida north of a Tampa you can choose your final route.

Just set up your GPS up for rural roads or non interstates. Problem solved.

You could drop through Alabama and head on down to the panhandle. Lots of interesting detours to be found. This site might help. http://www.motorcycleroads.us/states/al.html
