Default 2018 Corvettes On The Circle - St. Armand's Circle/Sarasota, FL - Saturday May 5th

Registration for the 2018 Corvettes on the Circle Show in beautiful, St. Armands Circle, Sarasota, FL on Saturday - May 5th, 2018 is now open.

This will be the 22nd year that the Skyway Corvette Club of Sarasota-Bradenton, will host this show and we're expecting another great event to showcase and share our Corvette passion while donating the proceeds of the show to the Honor Flight Network of West Central Florida.

Last year we had 175 Corvettes fill the park with many others parked on the parameter of St. Armand's Circle.

Links to the registration form as well as more information on the Honor Flight Network of West Central Florida are below. Please register early as we stop registration at 175 cars and last year we closed registration in early April. Not because we want to, rather because we have a capacity limit in the park and we hate turning away Corvette owners wanting to participate in the show.

If anyone has any questions or would like for me to send them a registration form directly, please send me a PM with your email.

Save the Wave!

Registration:

http://www.corvettesonthecircle.com/

(2018 Registration Form link will be activated week of January 8th, 2018)

Our show is even a hit with our friends from across the pond...

Sorry, due to the park permit restrictions, we don't allow vendors with the exception of the co-host dealership. With all the restaurants and attractions surrounding St. Armand's Circle, we're only allowed to sell water, popcorn, and show-related items that all go to the chosen charity (Honor Flight).

I took on the Show Chairman responsibilities in 2015 and the online registration was one of the first things we looked at. At the time, our club website hosting service wouldn't support it. Since all the show proceeds go to the chosen charities, we try to keep our production costs as low as possible, however we have high expenses with the park permit, clean-up costs, and our above car show average trophy hardware. Recently, I've checked out the companies that offer the outsourced, on-line reservation and car show management services but they come with a cost and many of the club board members prefer to keep it old-school with the manual reservation process. We effectively "sell out" the show every year due to the capacity restrictions of the park and I would say 80% of the show each year is repeat participants.

However, we're always looking for ways to improve the experience so thanks for the suggestion.

No doubt the event is one of the best and the location is spectacular! I even drive more than 3 hrs to attend the event.

Kudos to the organizers.

This can be an option you can do aside from the slow mail:

Registrants can just simply send a fill up form via Microsoft Word or something that can be sent via email to one if the organizers. We can even send a photo screen shot of the application and send
To any of your members via iPhone or any smart phone.

Then pay through a paypal account to your treasurer.
Paypal just charge 3% of the $35 fee. You can even say pay $36 or $37 for processing fee to cover the PayPal fee.
Just making suggestions. But slow mail and checks still works.

I’ll be seeing you sir!

You will receive an email confirming your registration receipt once our registration POC logs the information. He usually processes them once per week.

April 4th Update: We are now at 135 registrations with 40 slots left. As we head into the homestretch of the registration process, we anticipate another last month registration rush and a full show of 175 "Corvettes on The Circle" - A truly unique day in the park in beautiful St. Armands Circle off of Lido Beach, Sarasota.

Hope to see you there!

As of today, we have 165 registrations in with a few more in flight. We max out at 175 and always hold a few slots for day of registration.

In scanning the list, I don't see any Gainesville or Jacksonville-based clubs or entries.
